The Challenge

Trunki, the popular children’s ride-on hand luggage, became an overnight sensation when it appeared on the Dragon’s Den TV show back in 2006.

The company has since gone global, and needed a PPC agency with the international expertise to drive sales and brand awareness across different countries with an ROAS target of 1/5. Of course, we were the natural choice given our native-speaking, multilingual team and extensive ecommerce experience.

The Solution

We began by researching the product range and devising a comprehensive paid search strategy for Trunki France, Germany and the UK. From there we split the previously single Google Adwords account into three new accounts, improving reporting and management efficiency for each territory.

Using the data collected over the following months, we were then able to further optimise each account. We created Google Shopping and search campaigns to capture brand-specific and generic queries and increase brand awareness across all territories.

We then implemented remarketing campaigns to help us re-engage with valuable existing customers, and launched display marketing campaigns to target those most likely to engage with the brand. Building custom audiences also helped us identify customer trends and build a bespoke RLSA strategy to recapture visitors and uplift bids.
